By many accounts, Haiti and her football have been in a state of steady free-fall. In the last decade, the United Nations labeled Haiti as a "failed state."
While the country thought it was impossible to change the course of its crude reality, a young man by the name of Peterson Bonpied Jerome began a journey that sacrificed 14 years of his youth to intervene and save the next generation.
The intervention and endeavor continues as Bonpied reaches those who possess the power to create a positive impact on a new generation and country that dreams for success.
Through years of hard work and dedication, Bonpied founded the Haiti Youth Development & Education Organization as an effort to create opportunities for aspiring athletes and youth.
